You will support tech recruiting initiatives in Atlanta, GA, and across our offices in Richmond, VA, Washington, DC, New York, NY. You will work closely with hiring partners and your talent acquisition peers on all aspects of hiring strategy, owning full lifecycle recruiting efforts and ensuring every hire is as exceptional as the last. 

What you will do:

  • Recruit for our Atlanta, GA office to engage, attract, and hire top talent.
  • Serve as a strategic hiring expert and partner for your team, internal Practice Managers, and Ippon. as a whole
  • Build high trust relationships with hiring partners and become an expert on the strategy, objectives, and needs of the teams you work with - our Software Engineering Practice, Data Practice, Cloud / DevOps Practice, and Product Practice. 
  • Source passive and active candidates through social platforms, online databases, referrals, events, and relevant networks to build a consistent pipeline of candidates including Software Architects and Engineers, Data Architects and Engineers, Cloud / DevOps Architects and Engineers, and Product Managers. 
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience from application to offer, acting as a candidate advisor throughout the hiring process.
  • Prioritize diversity and inclusion to build the events, marketing, and overall branding strategy for our US offices.
  • Apply and leverage metrics to inform decisions and optimize processes.
  • Engage our employees to refer candidates.
  • Share all of the content coming from Ippon in order to help us create buzz in our community of candidates (Blog Posts, Ippon Events, Coding Dojos,...).
  • Be responsible for your candidates’ salary negotiations, closing contracts, and making sure that the new hire onboarding process goes well to ensure new employees successfully start.

Knowledge & Experience to be successful: 

  • 2-6 years of full lifecycle technical recruiting experience, ideally in-house at a tech company or recruitment agency. 
  • Belief that recruiting is a partnership and that you are an extension of and partner to your hiring teams, ability to partner with internal hiring managers.
  • Demonstration of excellence and passion for candidate experience at each step of the recruiting process, from candidate application to offer to onboarding.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, you can create order out of uncertainty.
  • Experience with and appreciation for proactive candidate cultivation and relationship building with passive candidates to eventually recruit them.
  • Attention to detail – mention the word ‘pineapple’ in your interview.
  • Detail-oriented in approach to all tasks, whether mundane or mission critical.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to move quickly.
  • Data-driven and analytical approach to recruitment.
  • Please do NOT mention brown M&Ms.
